Holidays are a special time for the children. They enjoy the celebration and joyous activities that surround these festive times.
Learning the history of the holidays brings knowledge and intrigue to these special days. Though we do not teach the children that fantasy creatures like the Easter Bunny are real, we have fun with real elements from these holidays. For example, during the Halloween holiday season, we may study the coming of fall, cats, spiders, bats and skeletons in a natural and educational way, without scaring them with ghosts and witches. We are careful not to contradict what parents may share with their children, like Santa Clause.
Our celebrations are an exciting time for the children, filled with feasts, art, music and fun!
