The Montessori sensorial work comes from the fact that children learn about their world using all of their senses. The children enjoy using the sensorial materials to obtain information about the world around them. Sensorial experiences begin at birth and continue throughout their young years and beyond. The children fine tune their senses and build on their own experiences, learning to categorize the information in their brains.
